Travel Information

**Our reservation at Minnowbrook is from Aug 24 to 28. If you would like to spend an extra night there, please call Kevin (the hotel manager) at 518-352-7200.**

The 5th Workshop on Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy will be held August 24 - 28, 2008 at the Minnowbrook Conference Center located on the sparkling Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York [http://www.minnowbrook.org/]. It is 100 miles from Albany, 135 miles from Syracuse, 206 miles from Ottawa, 209 miles from Montreal, 265 miles from New York City, and 289 miles from Toronto.

For most participants it will be convenient to fly into Albany, New York (USA). The Albany, NY, airport is the closet to Minnowbrook. Allow three hours driving time from Syracuse or Albany, four hours from Ottawa or Montreal, five hours from New York City, or about five and a half hours from Toronto.

The only way to make the trip from the airport to Blue Mountain Lake is via rental car. Shortly before the meeting we'll set up shared rides so that it will not be necessary for everyone to rent a car.
